Armand Poblete, MS

Faculty – Information Systems

Armand builds at the edge of possibility. He mixes twenty years of automation, AI, and systems thinking into a style of leadership that’s fast, practical, and deeply people-centered. He doesn’t just talk innovation—he engineers it. He takes raw ideas, chaotic problems, and “someday” visions and turns them into tools, programs, and working prototypes that actually make a difference.

He leads AUCORE at Andrews University, shaping executive education for leaders from Vietnam, Africa, and across the U.S. His programs push people to think bigger, use technology intelligently, and design organizations that last. At the same time, he runs ThinkerBox, a STEM-X innovation lab where students learn robotics, autonomy, and entrepreneurship by building real things, solving real problems, and seeing what they’re truly capable of.

He’s an entrepreneur with a maker’s mindset. He designs drones, robotics systems, AI pipelines, custom hardware, and rapid prototypes that connect business, engineering, and community development. He knows how to ship—how to take a rough sketch, turn it into a plan, then turn it into something people can touch, test, and improve. That’s where he’s at his best.

People trust him because he pushes ideas from talk to action. He builds teams, opens opportunities, and helps others grow into the leaders they want to be. Whether he’s teaching executives, coaching students, or building a new system at 2 a.m., he’s driven by one mission: create impact that lasts and help others do the same.
