The Organizational Management MSA prepares you for business management and organizational leadership in corporate, nonprofit, and faith-based settings. Offered on-campus and online, this flexible program blends advanced business management with organizational leadership, business research, Christian ethics, and a hands-on practicum. With the option to specialize in Human Resources, Nonprofit Management or Organizational Management, you’ll graduate with the skills to inspire people and drive meaningful results.

The MSA in Organizational Management is designed for students seeking management roles in business, nonprofit, or church-based organizations. Blending leadership theory, practical management skills, and a strong ethical foundation, the program equips you to guide organizations toward sustainable success.
Students can pursue the general MSA or add a concentration in Human Resource Management or Nonprofit Management. Each track includes a capstone practicum, giving you the chance to apply what you’ve learned in a real-world organizational setting.

The MSA in Organizational Management is built on a 16-credit business core that develops leadership, organizational behavior, human resource management, finance, and ethics. You’ll also complete a capstone practicum designed to integrate your learning in a real-world organizational setting.
Beyond the core, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your degree through 6 credits of electives and 12 credits of either a general MSA pathway or a concentration:
Admissions Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
Hold a four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. university or an equivalent, recognized institution abroad.
- Statement of Purpose
A written statement of at least 500 words outlining academic and professional goals.
- Professional History or Résumé
Detailing employment, research, or special projects.
- Recommendations
Two professional or academic recommendations.
- Official Transcripts
From all post-secondary institutions attended. Must be sent directly to Andrews University in sealed envelopes or electronically from the issuing school.
- Standardized Test
GRE or GMAT scores may be required (within the last 5 years). Check program-specific requirements for possible waivers.
-English Proficiency (International Students)
Non-native English speakers must demonstrate proficiency through approved tests (e.g., TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.5, Duolingo 110, or equivalent).
